League of Friends was founded by Megan Oliver, a designer and creative, and a mother of two. The idea for the brand first took shape while Megan was on maternity leave with her first daughter, during a season that shifted how she thought about clothing, consumption, and what children truly need.

Founded in Brooklyn, the brand was inspired by those early days of parenthood, when Megan noticed that many of the clothes they purchased or were gifted didn’t hold up beyond a few washes, often losing their shape, softness, or quality far too quickly. That experience sparked a desire to create something different: children’s clothing that felt considered, well-made, and built to last.

From the beginning, League of Friends has focused on timeless, gender-neutral designs, created to move easily from one child to the next. Each piece is thoughtfully made so it can be worn, loved, and shared between siblings, regardless of gender, extending its life and meaning.
